You're officially inside the Beginner Hitting Program - the step by step system designed to build a strong, repeatable swing from the ground up.
In this program, you'll learn the exact fundamentals every hitter needs before advancing to higher level mechanics. We'll focus on creating a solid base, building consistency and giving athletes the confidence to feel what a good swing actually is.
Whether you're a brand new hitter or someone who needs to rebuild the basics, this program will guide you through everything you need to start strong and build long term success.
Let's get to work!
GOALS
1. Get into a balanced launch position
Create stability and power from the beginning of the swing
2. Finish the swing balanced
Improve control, body awareness, and ability to repeat the same move
3. Have good direction as you make your swing
Stay connected and drive the ball consistently without pulling off
4. Keep your head down throughout the drills
Build better vision, timing and cleaner hits during every drill
Weeks 1-2 focus on tee work and foundational movements. These drills are designed to help you master balance, direction and body control before adding speed. Please do NOT move on to Weeks 3-4 until you feel confident with the drills from the first two weeks. If you feel solid and consistent with the Week 1-2 movements, you can move on to front toss in Weeks 3-4.
If you struggle during front toss, that's completely normal! Just go back to the tee work, reset your movements, and try front toss again when ready.
There's no rush. Progress is based on feel, not speed. You really want to make sure you are not reverting back to old habits when making a full swing.
This program is meant to build a strong, repeatable swing. Master the movements first, then add speed when your body is ready.
